Swedish Massage Swedish Massage is a relaxing massage utilizing a series of long, gliding strokes and gentle kneading techniques on the muscles, combined with active and passive movements on the joints.
Myofascial (Deep Tissue) Massage This is a therapy focusing on specific area of the body to reduce tension by stretching and manipulating fascia (connective tissue surrounding the muscles) and the muscles themselves. The treatment requires active participation and communication from the client.
Sports Massage This is a massage performed either in preparation for a future event, to promote recovery after an event, or to provide general maintenance for the active individual. Sports Massage may include Myofascial and Neuromuscular techniques, plus assisted stretching methods. We have considerable experience working with all levels of athletes and exercisers, and have worked with runners, walkers, hikers, swimmers, bicyclists, triathletes, racquet sport enthusiasts, golfers, and others.
Prenatal Massage This is designed for expectant mothers. This therapy utilizes gentle, sooting strokes to help stabilize hormonal levels, decrease fluid retention, and relieve muscle strain of the lower back, abdomen, and shoulders.

SANNE HASSING
Sanne is a Danish citizen who moved to Bernardsville in December 2004 when her husband’s work for a Danish dairy company took him to the United States. Previously, she lived in Saudi Arabia for four years.
Sanne is very happy to have found the pleasure of working as a massage therapist. In addition to her training as a massage therapist she is an alumna of the Danish College of Optometry. She has also previously worked in bookkeeping and office administration. Sanna enjoys keeping a healthy and active lifestyle and spending time with her two children, Anna and Elias.
JEN RUSSELL
Jen is a nationally certified massage therapist who arrived in the field through a varied educational course. She finished her undergraduate degree in music at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey in 2002 and realized that her passion for bodywork needed to be more than just a side line hobby but rather a significant portion of her vocational life.
She then enrolled in the Professional Track program at the Somerset School of Massage Therapy. This intensive program included both anatomy & physiology and the study and practice of a variety of massage modalities including Swedish, Myofascial, Sports, Pre- and Post-natal and Reflexology. Jen is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, the oldest & largest international organization representing the massage therapy profession.
