Excel Fitness Center’s personal training program focuses on functional training, a
type of training that moves the body in all planes of motion and replicates real life
movement. An emphasis on core strength, balance, and stability will help clients’
physical performance. Plyometric training, which helps increase power, speed, and
endurance, is also incorporated into each session. All of our training sessions are one
hour and are tailored to the individual client’s needs. As the area’s only personal
training facility owned and operated by a physical therapist, Excel Fitness Center will
bring your fitness training to a new level.  
Weight Loss and Toning
Excel Fitness Center’s total body workouts will keep your body burning calories and
increase your muscle tone. Our functional training is extremely efficient in
cardiovascular conditioning, dynamic stabilization, movement strength, and total
body coordination. A wide variety of body weight exercises and equipment are used

Injury Prevention/Post-Rehabilitation
If you have been injured and are now afraid to exercise or if you want to help
decrease your risk of injury, Excel Fitness Center can provide you with the care that
you need.
 
The stability programs offered at Excel Fitness Center target your body’s intrinsic muscles. When your body’s stabilization is challenged by an
injury, it must recruit more muscles to stay balanced. Stability balls, BOSUs, disc pillows, airex mats, foam rollers, and wobble boards are just a
few pieces of equipment that are used to help decrease your risk of injury or re-injury. By doing these exercises, you are taking the initiative to
strengthen your weak areas and significantly decrease your risk for re-injury. You are giving yourself the essential ingredients to perform better
in everything that you do.
Sports Conditioning and Strength Training
Excel Fitness Center can help athletes increase their
performance through bodybuilding, plyometrics, stability,
functional training exercises, and cardio training. All of these
different models of training are combined to help the athlete
improve his or her performance in his or her sport. The athlete’s
age, experience, and sport are used to develop a program that
will increase his or her performance both on and off the field.
